New Articles in Volume 47

Barnboken: Journal of Children’s Literature Research has published the first five articles of Volume 47. These include four articles within the theme “Motherhood and Mothering”, analysing mother–daughter relationships in horse stories, the adaption of the mother character in three versions of a Danish children’s classic, ghost children and baby farmers in historical and gothic novels, and vulnerable mothering in picturebooks about surrogacy or parental illness. We also publish an independent article on landscape and loneliness in two Finnish YA novels, and three new reviews.
